A little bit about us
The Trull Players formed in 2005 after a particularly productive meeting of a few like-minded people in the Winchester Arms in Trull. We went on to perform our first production, Cinders!, at the beginning of 2006, since when we’ve been entertaining audiences with a mix of Pantomimes, Comedies and Dramas.
We aim to present two productions a year – a Spring show and Christmas show – and encourage members to put their name forward to take on Directing roles if they are at all interested, using our group experience to support them along the journey.
We also have a history of productions written by our own talented members, as well as looking to nurture young talent by performing youth-orientated productions as well as junior chorus roles in our Christmas pantomimes. A number of our young members have gone on to study Drama and Performance at University, and it’s an aspect of our group that we are very proud of.

We are always looking for new members to join us – be it performing on stage, making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, making props, sewing clothes, applying make-up, constructing scenery, painting backcloths, meeting and greeting front of house, choreography, playing in the band, directing, ticket sales, marketing, back-end of a horse – we would love to hear from you if you’re interested in joining us. As everyone here will tell you, you don’t need experience just enthusiasm.
